Pacific Birds has been involved in strategic planning since 1993. Planning provides partners with a biological context for their conservation activities and puts projects into a larger conservation framework. Funders also want to know that partner conservation actions align with regional and national strategies, and that those actions will result in measurable outcomes.
Our partners work to implement the goals of major bird conservation plans and initiatives, as well as regional, state and provincial conservation plans. Pacific Birds helps step down those plans into manageable pieces for implementation by partners.
