Pacific Birds Habitat Joint Venture is an international Joint Venture that includes Alaska, the western portions of British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, and northern California, and the Hawaiian and other Pacific Islands. It encompasses several avifaunal biomes and a diversity of habitat types such as arctic and alpine tundra, forests, wetlands, prairies, and islands and atolls.

The more remote Pacific Islands were added to the Pacific Birds area in early 2016; stay tuned for more about these islands and their bird life. Learn more about work in our other locations by visiting links to the right.
